The word "curry" is derived from the Tamil word kari meaning "sauce for rice".
My curry powder recipe was handed down by my father and is an authentic blend of ingredients including: ginger powder, fried onion, garlic flakes, curry leaf, coriander, cumin, pepper, chilies, turmeric, cinnamon, fennel, cardamom, clove etc. Each spice has been individually dry roasted to enhance the flavor and aromas.
